Why Finanțistul exists
Finanțistul turns a trial balance into a financial analysis that a credit analyst would otherwise give you after a few days of work. No needless jargon, no inflated promises. Here is what we look at when we build the product.
Why we built it
Financial analysis takes time, method and attention. The figures already exist in the trial balance; what is missing is someone to place them in the ratios that matter and say what they mean. The accountant has no time, and a consultant costs a few hundred euros and answers in two weeks.
The engine that does the maths has run for years as a desktop application, on dozens of real companies. We added the path between your file and it: you upload the trial balance, you get the report in a few minutes, at the price of a coffee in town.
Our mission
To make serious financial analysis accessible to any company, not only to those who can afford a consultant. The same ratios a bank checks, the same discipline, but within reach of the entrepreneur who wants to know today where they stand, not in two weeks.
Our vision
An entrepreneur who opens their company in the morning and sees, at a glance, whether they have money to collect, whom they owe, how much they can withdraw in dividends and where the business is heading - in their language, wherever they are. Their figures, placed in context, not left to sit in a pile of paper.
Our values
- Honesty before impression. When a figure is an estimate, we say so. When we cannot single something out, we say so. A report that sounds good, but lies, helps no one.
- Your data is yours. The uploaded trial balance is deleted right after it is read. We do not sell data, we do not keep it longer than needed, we do not send it to anyone.
- Fair pricing. A report costs the price of a coffee in town, not a consultancy. And we do not ask for money if the trial balance cannot be read.
- In your language. The report, the verdicts and the action plan in many languages, not just the menu.
- No lock-in. You leave with your PDF and it stays yours. We do not tie you to a subscription just to read it later.
Where your data is
In short, as little as possible and for as short a time as possible:
- The uploaded trial balance PDF is read and deleted right after. We do not keep it.
- If you pay, we keep only what is needed to generate and deliver your report, then the extracted accounting data is deleted within the term in the privacy policy.
- If you do not pay, the data extracted from the trial balance is deleted too, within that same term.
- The delivered report stays with you. You can protect it with a password of your choice, or if you do not choose one, we set one for you.

Data protection (GDPR)

Data controller
The data is processed by GlobalEX Software, the company Finanțistul is part of. You can contact us at any time through the contact form on the site for anything about your data, including data protection requests.
Legal basis
We process the data on three bases, by purpose: performance of the contract (to deliver your report and PDF), legal obligation (issuing and keeping the invoice) and your consent (the agreement you give before the trial balance is processed).
What data we process
Your email address, the billing details (name and tax ID for a company, or first name, last name and address for an individual) and the trial balance you upload - your company's accounting data. We ask for the personal ID number only if you choose communication through SPV; we keep it encrypted and delete it upon delivery.
How long we keep it
The trial balance PDF is deleted right after it is read. The extracted accounting data is deleted within the term in the privacy policy. The invoice we keep for as long as tax law requires. We keep nothing longer than needed.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection. You can exercise them through the data deletion form or by contacting us. We reply within the terms set by law.
Where the data sits and who else touches it
Your data sits in the European Union, on our server in Romania. For safety we make backups with large, reputable providers (such as Amazon, Google), which may store them on their own infrastructure, including outside the EU, under the legal safeguards they provide. For payment we use Stripe, which processes the card as a processor; we do not see or store the card data. We do not sell or give your data to anyone for marketing.
Automated decisions
The report is generated automatically from your company's figures. It is an analysis of the company, not an assessment of you as a person, and it produces no legal effects on you. The conclusions are indicative; the decisions stay with you and your accountant.
Complaints
If you feel we processed your data wrongly, you can tell us directly - we prefer to fix it ourselves. You also have the right to address the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), www.dataprotection.ro.
